WELCOME HOME

OUR VISION

At Bethel Navajo Assembly of God, We want everyone to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, beginning right here in Houck, reaching across the Navajo Nation, and extending to the ends of the earth.

OUR MISSION

At Bethel Navajo Assembly of God, we invite everyone to belong in God’s family, to become more like Jesus & to build the church of tomorrow.

OUR BELIEFS

The Bible
We believe the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16
God
We believe in the one true God that has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 4:6 & Matthew 28:19
Jesus
We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare: His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead andHis ascension to the right hand of the Father
John 1:1
Fall of Man
We believe that we were created good and upright; for God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness." However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
Romans 5:12-18
Salvation
We believe that our only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
John 14:6
Ordinances of the Church
We believe Water Baptism: Is an outward demonstration of an inward transformation that Jesus has done. Baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptized.
Matthew 28:19

We believe Holy Communion: Is The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine (Juice) is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, a memorial of his suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming and is open to all who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26
Baptism in The Holy Spirit
We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. With the Baptism in the Holy Spirit comes the enduement of power for life and service. It is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of salvation. The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance
Acts 2:4
Sanctification
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. Sanctification is a daily process that is never completely achieved, even though we strive daily to achieve it, until we are in heaven with Jesus.
Galatians 5:16-25
Divine Healing
We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body and is the privilege of all believers.
1 Peter 2:24
The Blessed Hope / The Rapture
We believe that the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church.
Titus 2:3
The Millennial Reign of Christ
We believe in The second coming of Christ which includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel, and the establishment of universal peace.
Revelation 20:1-6
The Final Judgment
We believe there will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Revelation 20:1-5

New Heavens & New Earth
We believe there will be a New Heaven & Earth according to God's promise, and we look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness."
Revelation 21
